The 2012 International Reflective Insulation Manufacturers (I-RIM) Conference was held April 30 – May 2 at the beautiful Fort Lauderdale Hilton Marina Resort hosting guests traveling in from around the globe. Countries represented include the US, Canada, India, UK, France, Australia, Korea, Costa Rica, and Malaysia.
The 2-1/2 day conference was a great success providing excellent workshops conducted by industry experts such as Crystal Gauvin of RISI, Philip Fairey from the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC), Dr. David Yarbrough of R&D Services Inc., Dr. Mario Medina from the University of Kansas, Steve Baden from RESNET, Theresa Stovall from Oak Ridge National Laboratory(ORNL), Dr. Ali Fallahi of Fraunhofer Institute and many others. Thirteen companies exhibited in the new trade show event which included a cocktail reception on day one and lunch on day two. These social gatherings were a great networking opportunity for all conference guests.
